In-Person Worship for July and August
On the recommendation of the Forward in Faith Together working group, the Session has approved increasing our attendance numbers in the sanctuary while continuing to distance in seating and wearing masks. Opening the balcony and the individual chairs on either side of the chancel will allow us to have approximately 130 in worship plus worship leaders, choir, and ushers.

We are very grateful for all who attended worship in June and joined in our covenant of keeping one another safe and healthy. Our “soft opening” has helped us prepare as we now increase attendance. We will also no longer ask for people to sign up for worship in advance. In July and August, as each household makes their own decisions on how to participate in worship, we believe in-person numbers will be consistent with protocols. We will have livestream participation available in the Assembly Room for potential overflow and/or for families with young children who would like a bit of space.

We will snap a picture of the congregation in case the need of contact tracing arises.

Update on the Church Office
The Forward in Faith Together working group has recommended that staff begin to return to their offices on a regular basis and as they are able. During the pandemic our staff showed a remarkable ability to adapt and to complete all the necessary tasks electronically. Like for so many, some of that virtual work and communication will continue into the future.

Staff will be available to meet at the church office by appointment over the summer. With Vacation Bible School (off-site), youth trips, and staff vacation plans, full staff will not be in the building at the same time in July and August. Arm in Arm also will continue its mobile food delivery preparation in the building. Our church office will more fully open in September as we launch the fall program year, welcome back our office volunteers, and hit the ground running.

To make an appointment, please be in touch with staff or leave a message on the church voicemail.
