Sunday Worship Service

10:00 a.m. - Worship, Livestream & In-Person

Not sure how to find our online worship? Livestream services can be found on the Nassau Church website. You can also watch live on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Scam Alert

We have become aware that some of you may have received emails or texts that appear to be from Dave Davis or other church staff requesting your help. Please be very cautious. Church staff will not contact you asking you to buy gift cards, etc.

Even if you think an email or text is really from a church staff member, please make independent contact to verify before you make a financial transaction. You can send an email through the encrypted emails on our website or you can call the church and leave a message. We check the messages regularly.

We appreciate that folks want to help and just want to make sure that none of us are taken advantage of. Use a healthy dose of skepticism!

School Supplies Drive - July 7 - August 11

Providing supplies for success. We are once again joining with Westminster Presbyterian Church (WPC), our partner church in Trenton, to provide backpacks filled with school essentials for local students. Our goals are 150 backpacks and $5,000 for the supplies to fill them. Bring backpacks to the Narthex on Sunday mornings; use the "School Supplies" fund when you give online ("Give Now") or in the memo line of your check.

Loaves & Fishes - Friday, August 23 & Saturday, August 24

Join us for our 32nd year of service. Volunteering for Loaves and Fishes, whether it’s donating food, money, or time, is an opportunity to be fed and to join our community of faith in action. Use the "Loaves & Fishes" fund when you give online ("Give Now") or in the memo line of your check. Sign-ups are coming soon!

PTS Coat Drive - August 18 - September 15

Restock the PTS Coat Closet. To help prepare international students at the Seminary for the New Jersey winters, donate gently worn men’s and women’s winter coats, fleece pullovers and winter accessories. This year we are also looking for donations of new socks for both men and women. Bring items to the Assembly Room on Sunday mornings; contact the church office to drop off during the week.

The Story of a Tuskegee Airman

Last month, Nassau & Witherspoon's Bending the Moral Arc groups had a fascinating presentation by Gordon Smith (Princeton ‘80), the son of famed Tuskegee Airman Captain Luther S. Smith. Gordon told the inspiring story of his father’s fight against racism in our armed forces and his heroic service as a World War Two fighter pilot.

Summer Choir

Join the Summer Choir as your schedule allows through September 1. We rehearse at 9:00 am in the Music Room for the morning service, learning music that is easily prepared in one rehearsal. Supported by our section leaders, singers of all abilities, middle school and older, are welcome for this “come as you are” choir. Join us and make a joyful noise unto God.

Summer Conference Room Art Show:

 The Sacred Art of Photography

The exhibit was produced by two of Nassau’s small groups, led by Ned Walthall with the assistance of Tim Brown, under the general theme, “The Sacred Art of Photography.” In the fall of 2023, members were asked to write short prayers and then create photographs in response to them, or vice versa. This spring, the focus was on the Gospel of Luke: members could choose passages from Luke and make photographs in response to them. Each member was invited to submit a photograph to include in this exhibition.

Grown-ups Try Summer Church School

We are thrilled to welcome Josie Brothers back as our lead teacher again this summer! Would you consider assisting in Summer Church School class for preschool through grade two? Sign up for the week(s) of your choice from May 19 through September 1. We provide a curriculum, a schedule, and support. You provide love for the children of our church and a willingness to try something new. Youth helpers are also welcome to join in assisting.
