The Toddlers Closet

Donate by April 21, Assembly Room

The Mission and Outreach Committee is collecting clean clothing and shoes for children (newborn to age 5) for families living in Donnelley Homes, a 376-unit complex run by the Trenton Housing Authority. The Toddlers Closet distributes clothing to families, and the closet is often empty, as it is now. This small, but impactful project is an initiative of the Trenton Community Street Team.

Art of Faithfulness: Poetic Expressions of Faith & Identity

Saturday, April 27, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, Assembly Room

Poet, Rita Dove, states, “All of us have moments in our childhood where we come alive for the first time. And we go back to those moments and think, “This is when I became myself.” At this event, several poets who write about faith will read from their own work. Their poems will touch on the intertwined themes of faith, identity and belonging. An open mike will follow; poems shared should be related to the theme and of moderate length. High School and up!
