Mission and Outreach

Hear from Kate Germond of Centurion Ministries

Monday, April 1, 7:00 - 8:15 PM, on Zoom

In 1986, Kate Germond read an article in the New York Times about Jim McCloskey’s investigative work on behalf of wrongly convicted, imprisoned persons. The article led Kate Germond to move to Princeton; she thought Jim could use her help. Kate now serves as Centurion’s Senior Advocate and Investigator. Join the Mass Incarceration Task Force Zoom to hear more about the continuing work of this remarkable organization.

Staying Connected

March Conference Room Art Show

Photography by Ned Walthall

“Who Is My Neighbor” is an exhibition of portraits of individuals passing through the remarkable light and shadow of Grand Central Terminal. Organized around the lawyer's question to Jesus, these pictures put the same question to you in a different way. Whom would you like to exclude? Which picture would you like to take down? Who among these are not your neighbor?

Nassau Book Group

Sunday, April 14, 12:15 PM, Conference Room

Join a discussion of “Cry, The Beloved Country,” by Alan Paton, an American literary classic. The novel, published in 1948, is a story of a family in South Africa. Themes include racial divides, duality of hope & despair, and the breakdown of family and community. Coffee and tea provided. If you like, bring a sack lunch and something to share.
