5th graders with their graduation sardines
Dear families,

This Sunday is the 38th Sunday of church school this  year and the last Sunday before we transition to the summer schedule (worship @ 10 AM and church school for PreK and K-grade 2). That's a lot of goldfish eaten, craft projects imagined, lessons planned and stories told! Our faithful, fabulous team of teachers makes it happen each week. Join me in thanking them this Sunday for their ministry to and love for your children and your whole family. It is a precious and vital mission.

Just as we thank and send off one group of teachers, summer programs are looming and another round of volunteers are needed. Keep reading...
1. Summer Church School helper - Sign up to assist for a week (or more!) beginning May 19 through September 1. During the summer months, we offer two church school classes, PreK class and a (rising) K-grade 2 class. Lead teachers are in place but adult assistants are needed. No prep or planning required. Just show up and have fun.
2. Vacation Bible School/PresbyCamp VBS is a whole-church project. It takes dozens of youth and adult volunteers to create a meaningful and fun week for the children of our church and community. We are grateful for the many repeat volunteers but we always want (need!) new folks to try on a new volunteer adventure. We are especially low on Tribe Leaders for this summer's program. I'll be talking more about this in a Minute for Mission on Sunday, May 12.

in shared ministry,

P. S. The Club 3-4-5 crew packed string backpacks filled with camp gear for children receiving scholarships to summer recreation camps. Keep scrolling for project pics.

Dear Families,
Yesterday, our Wednesday Children's Choirs met for their end of the choir year open house and celebration.  I am so deeply grateful for all that we are together, in spirit and in song.  What a terrific crew!  I feel abundantly blessed to know each of you, and equally proud of your Worship leading this year.

God is in my voice, when I am singing....
God is here with me, Alleluia!

With gratitude for you,
Ingrid
