Celebrating the Lord's Supper on the beach at NorthBay

Dear families,

We often refer to our church as our family. We recognize that the love and commitment we have to the body of Christ is a lot like the love and commitment we have to our own families.

In my family, late winter is the season we start planning and making space on the calendar (!) for our summer family vacation, that precious week when we are able to leave home, get out of our daily routines, and enjoy new places and experiences. It is essential for us. I bet you feel the same way about your family vacation.

The family of God also needs family vacation. We need the blessing of new experiences in new places to deepen our relationships. Our families need the chance to play and worship and talk with one another. It is essential. Let's make it a priority. Keep reading for information on the All-Church Retreat/Church Family Vacation.

in shared ministry,
