Normally by the end of March, I am pushing programming like crazy. Sign your family up for the All-Church Retreat Weekend! Don't miss out! Save the date for Vacation Bible School! Don't double book! Volunteer for VBS! The good spots go early (they are all good spots, in my book)! Club 3-4-5 this week!
But this March is not normal. As we keep being reminded, these are unprecedented days. Rest assured, VBS, PresbyCamp and the All-Church Retreat are still on the calendar. We very much hope and pray we can gather together again by that time.
Until then, I offer two things:
- A picture of a clump of wee arugula sprouts in my garden. They'll need to be thinned as they grow but the resilient grouping made me happy.
- A verse from Psalm 130 (worship-at-home text for Sunday).
I hope, Lord.
My whole being hopes, and I wait for God’s promise.
