Frankton, IN - Nathan Whybrew has been appointed as the pastor of the
Frankton First United Methodist Church (FFUMC). The appointment is effective on July 1. He replaces Gary Elsten who is the new pastor of the Loogootee United Methodist Church.
A native of Monticello, IN, Whybrew attended the United Methodist Church there. He answered a call into ministry during college and began pastoring under an appointment in 2004 when he started seminary. He previously served
churches in Colfax, Munster and Fort Wayne. Joining Pastor Nathan is his wife, Sarah, and children: Tucker, Tessa, Trey and Tate.
"I am really excited for the opportunity to serve in Frankton," Whybrew said. "I have loved hearing about the people and the ministries that are happening at this church," he added.
Join the FFUMC for services on Sunday. The traditional worship is at 8:45 a.m. in the church sanctuary. The contemporary New Outlook Worship service is at 11 a.m. in The Factory, the church community center located across 8th Street from the church. Sunday school is at 10 a.m. in both locations.
