STUDENT SPOTLIGHT
The High Altitude Balloon Project Team just released their third high altitude weather balloon on Monday, June 10th. Present for this end of year launch was President Logan Gozzi (seen above), along with Freshman Rahul Manna and Anna Mezhlauk with advisors Mr. Clements and Mr. O’Leary. The balloon had an instrument package attached to it including two different GPS trackers, weather recording devices and three GoPro cameras. It was launched from Ashland and, according to simulations, was supposed to land in Natick. But after traveling over 95,000 ft into the atmosphere and popping over Dover, the package descended by parachute and landed 40ft up in a tree in Brookline. Kindly enough Engine 4 was able to come out and retrieve the package. Many thanks to Brookline Fire Department!
AP EXAM INFORTMATION
CHANGES FOR 2019-2020 EXAM REGISTRATIONS
Advanced Placement Exams are developed and owned by the College Board. The College Board has announced many major changes for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. The most significant changes are:

October 4th 2019 will be the deadline to order exams.
Any registration after October 4th will incur late registration fees.
Fees for the cancellation of exams will be $40.00 per exam.

The College Board is also introducing a new online system for exam registrations. Details of this system are still emerging from the College Board. We will work to provide you with updates and a clear registration process in September. Policies regarding AP exams are established by the College Board, not by Natick High School. More information from the College Board regarding these changes and their rationale behind them are available via this link.

AP exams will still take place over the first two weeks of May 2020.  Here is a link to the exam calendar for May.     Note: Our exams begin at 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM.

Thank you,

Matt Strother & Aimee Cairney
AP Coordinators
