Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
This is the Acknowledgment from my recent book: I welcome your comments:
Yeshua, the Messiah, Jesus the Christ, tells us that without Him we can do nothing: " Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." ~John 15: 4-5
This applies to nations as well as individuals. As a nation today, the United States no longer "abides in Him." Our national motto: " In God We Trust" has an increasingly empty sound to it. To the extent that I could listen and get His Word from time to time to write this basic book, I thank Him for his help and give Him all the glory. For words that miss the mark, please forgive me. And thank you, sisters and brothers in His repentance remnant, in many nations, for your prayers.
To understand why this United States of America is imploding, and His Solution, we have to attempt to understand Him first through His eternal Word. Our founders knew the Bible and made use of its Truths. Many had a healthy, reverential fear of Almighty God which we have essentially lost today as Christians. King David's words to his people three thousand or so years ago describe the Lord powerfully in a way that is virtually lost today. Here are David's words in 1 Chronicles 29: 10-16:
“Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel,
our Father, forever and ever.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,
The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as head over all.
Both riches and honor come from You,
And You reign over all.
In Your hand is power and might;
In Your hand it is to make great
And to give strength to all.
“Now therefore, our God,
We thank You
And praise Your glorious name.
But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You.
For we are aliens and pilgrims before You,
As were all our fathers;
Our days on earth are as a shadow,
And without hope.
“O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name is from Your hand, and is all Your own.
The reverential awe of Almighty God that David experienced had to have been shared also by our Founders. They saw God's Hand, His Miracles, give birth to the United States of America. In reverent, healthy fear, with profound respect, they knew and used repeatedly, God's Word to David's son, Solomon:
"When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. " 2 Chronicles 7:13-14
Our Founders knew a profound Truth: Almighty God gives us a priceless opportunity to heal a land if we humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our ways, rejecting our old sin patterns, choosing instead His Word as our guide forward on His path of holiness. The key is to deploy His gift of repentance. In that way we hallow Him. His gift calls us to hold Him in healthy awe; reverentially to fear Him; and to be alert to His allowing disasters as a sign to have us return to Him. At the point of impending or current disaster---such as war, disease, or His sending moral pestilence---- if we, His people, then humble ourselves at a given time together, and pray, and seek His face, and truly turn from our wicked ways, then He will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land. We can then renew our priceless Covenant with Him.
There's much to cover, but let's start with this: unless we recognize the physical and moral pestilence we are under, unless we "fear God" and repent of our sins, as did our forefathers, and then recommit to our original Covenant with the Living God, this once Godly nation He birthed by His Miracles is doomed to experience His rightful judgment. This nation's rapid and growing implosion, obvious on today's media, is the result of rejecting the Living God and failing to repent. We are in a spiritual battle far beyond politics.
The good news: Starting today, if we follow His Word, you and I can be part of His Solution to heal this nation He birthed for His glory.
