The 2025 Hunter Olive Show was a resounding success, with winners announced and awards and trophies presented during an event at Tintilla Estate last month.
Hunter Valley producer Pukara Estate was crowned Most Successful Exhibitor of Show, after taking home gold medals in multiple classes.
It was milestone event for the Hunter Olive Association. Two new trophies were dedicated to the memory of former members - the late Peter O’Meara and Sharn Hunkin - both of whom made enormous contributions to the olive industry at local and national level.
Steve Mitchell was also presented with association life membership. He was recognised for his extraordinary contribution to the local industry, including his work to establish the Hunter Olive Show, which has provided opportunity for producers to showcase their oils and table olives since 2005.
Event organisers congratulated all entrants for submitting such a high calibre of oils and table olives for judging, and thanked judges and sponsors for their support.
