State Golf Shows

Is your state hosting a Winter Golf Show? If so, please let Sid Miner know so we can work towards participating with an NALG Booth.

We have admittedly missed most of the opportunities for the 2024 shows but please be on the lookout for future shows and contact Sid with any information you may have.

2024 NALG Membership Dues

It is time to pay your 2024 NALG Membership Dues. Still just $25 per year, your dues payment helps grow lefty golf across North America. Your dues can now be paid online by clicking here https://www.nalg.org/membership.html.

Of course, you can still print and mail your membership form and payment should you wish.

Hole in One

Congratulations to Hudsonville, MI lefty, Mark McConnell.

In this case it wasn't a hole-in-one, but something even rarer..... an albatross! (a score of 2 on a par 5).

While playing in the West Michigan Fall Classic golf tournament in Diamond Springs, Mark pulled out a 7-iron for his second shot on the 490 yard par 5 and even though he did not see it go in the cup, indeed found it proudly resting there upon his getting to the green.

Editorial comment...... Unless we're laying up out of the trees and other than some PGA tour pros and those much younger than some of us, who the heck is strong or good enough to hit a 7-iron on a 490 yard hole for their 2nd shot. 😊

Please let Sid Miner know of your hole-in-ones, tournament wins and/or other accomplishments so we can properly recognize your feats.

Have you seen the monthly blog in www.nalg.org?

Jon Kelley (NALG Board Member and three-time National NALG Champion) pens a monthly blog and posts to www.nalg.org. Jon posts some great commentary and is well worth your time to stop by and read his remarks.

Jon's February 2024 post is a very compelling story about a Ukrainian-born young man who has overcame his physical handicaps and many other challenges to become a champion golfer in the United States.

NALG Approved as a 501(c)(3)

The NALG is now officially a 501(c)(3) tax deductible non-profit organization! Big shoutout to Steven G. Newcom, NALG Secretary-Treasurer for successfully completing this complex initiative.

The primary advantage with this 501(c)(3) designation is contributions to the NALG can now be made on a tax-deductible basis making us far more attractive to Fortune 500 and other corporate partners. Please let Sid Miner know of any potential corporate donors you have access to who may wish to become lead or significant sponsors of the NALG.
