The 2020 Elections Committee and the Advisory Committee to the 2020 Election are happy to announce that this year
we had tremendous interest and participation from
our members during this election.

Following several years of uncontested races and low voter turnout,
this year, 550 voters participated in the 2020 NAHJ Election.
The election rendered the highest turnout in recent NAHJ history.

The proposed bylaw amendments were overwhelmingly supported, but quorum was not met. The bylaws committee will begin looking at next steps.
