Greetings From The Farm!
My last newsletter to you all was in May, and... well, here we are in August! It's been a wild ride all summer long, and we're very much enjoying our mid-summer break before we get back up and running with the autumn season, but that doesn't mean we're not still busy helping horses and riders make their dreams come true! Read on to learn all about it.
What's Up

Here's a few of the highlights from our outings to June's VADA-CH at HITS Culpeper, VADA/Nova Morven, and Virginia Summer Dressage Culpeper, as well as July's Dressage at Lexington. What's New
Next up is the USEF National Championships, at the end of the month. We're so excited to have TWO homemade horses in Grand Prix divisions, Abe Pugh aboard Alice Drayer's wonderful Elfeperfekt in the High Performance Grand Prix division, and myself with The Elvis Syndicate's amazing Guernsey Elvis in the Developing Grand Prix. Exciting stuff! If you'd like to support the journey there, consider joining the Sprieser Sporthorse Elite Club, and get a behind the scenes pass to all our adventures at home and away, including to Festival, Florida, and more. Your help is very, very much appreciated!

A few changes to our operating protocol, in light of the gravity of the Delta Variant: if you're unvaccinated, we ask that you are masked everywhere on the property, indoors or out, and let your instructor know that you're unvaccinated so we can prepare accordingly. If you've been vaccinated, thank you! We still ask that you wear a mask when you're in an indoor space - restroom, tack room, pantry. Lest you were curious, 100% of our stable staff, and 100% of our boarder clients, are vaccinated. Thank you all so much for your compassion, your patriotism, and your understanding!

Another request: it is HOT out, but we are so lucky as to have fantastic well water. Please treat yourself to a reusable water bottle and feel free to fill it from our tap, rather than using a single-use plastic bottle. If you do bring disposable plasticwear, please recycle in the containers in the indoor arena or in the barn.

As usual, we are open for trailer-in folks, in the afternoons and evenings, and we have limited stall space for short-term or long-term training horses. I also offer virtual lessons worldwide; all you need is a solid internet connection, a cell phone, a camera holder and a pair of wireless headphones. No fancy Pixem or Pivo required! (Though I teach on them, too, of course.) I have virtual students across North America! Email me to learn more.

And you can expand your education for just pennies a month by joining the Sprieser Sporthorse Elite Club. The SSHEC is a members-only experience for dressage enthusiasts, offering an all-access pass to the development of horses from foal to FEI! Head over to Strider to join.

We are all confident that we can help you and your horses advance safely and responsibly, and look forward to seeing you!
