Our Story
The Coconut Coalition of the Americas (CCA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade organization dedicated to stewarding responsible growth of the coconut industry. CCA was founded in 2017 when coconut industry stakeholders realized that one unified voice was needed for the North American coconut trade. Industry members came together to steward the category, encourage sustainability practices, promote facts and awareness for all coconut products, known as The Tree of Life.
CCA's membership is comprised of companies across the coconut products value chain including suppliers, processors, service companies, brand handlers, and retailers. We all have a stake in upholding sound and credible science, responsible communications, sustainable and transparent practices around all coconut products from the farmers to end consumer.
