We are getting ready to commemorate National Crime Victims' Rights Week, beginning on April 18th! The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) leads communities throughout the country in their annual observances of NCVRW by promoting victims’ rights and honoring crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf. This year’s theme – Support Victims. Build Trust. Engage Communities. – emphasizes the importance of cultivating community support to help victims of crime.
In honor of NCVRW, we present our Rev. Dr. Robert A. Denton Outstanding Victim Service Award. This year's recipient is Judge Ron Cable of Akron Municipal Court! Check out this sneak peak of our interview with Judge Cable, which will be released in full on Monday, April 19th!
