Call for Interns
The National CyberWatch Center Research and Assessments division has openings in its internship program. The Research department promotes, sponsors, and conducts research on cybersecurity education and workforce development with regard to a number of ongoing projects. Individuals will assist with preparing draft reports, managing project plans and schedules, collecting and analyzing data, and managing relationships with participants. This is an unpaid position that requires five to 10 hours of work per week. Deadline to apply is Dec. 31.

With the sudden and universal transition to e-learning, cybersecurity educators have had to adapt and change the way they teach and engage their students. The innovations you’ve brought into your classroom that make your course effective and engaging during this unprecedented time should be celebrated, and shared with a broader audience! This year's Innovation in Cybersecurity Education submissions will explore the following: How can we best contribute to the needs and transformations that might occur for remote/online instruction in the COVID-19 world?

Weekly Winter Games
The National Cybersecurity Student Association is once again offering the CyberXL games, as well as a new CTF: the Secure Coding Challenge. Every week, starting December 2, there will be an individual challenge. For each week's correct completion, participants will be entered into a raffle drawing for prizes. The challenges are not dependent on previous week’s work, so participants can join at any time! Only National Cybersecurity Student Association members are eligible to win prizes. Open Office Hours
Join Gus Hinojosa, Executive Director, National Cybersecurity Student Association and Dr. Vitaly Ford, Director of Cybersecurity Research and Development, National Cybersecurity Student Association on Dec. 16 at 7 pm ET for Open Office Hours. Topics of discussion will be: Cyber competitions, personal branding, professional associations and networking, gaming nights/streaming, and Student Association volunteer positions.
