Join the Webcast on Raising the BAR of Cybersecurity Capability Maturity
The National CyberWatch Mastery Badge Program presents its first installment in a series of Raising the Behaviorally Anchored Rating (BAR) systems formative credentialing webcasts to help predict job and career readiness in cybersecurity jobs. Participants will be guided on what capabilities they need to improve and resources to raise their capability maturity. This event is Thursday, May 23, 8 p.m. ET.

Curricula on Administration of Justice
In this month's installment of Cybersecurity Across the Curricula, Dr. Debasis Bhattacharya, director of Center for Cybersecurity Education and Research and assistant professor at the University of Hawaii Maui College, shares resources on Administration of Justice, which maps to a Criminal Law course. Materials explore loss prevention for online assets such as contracts, confidential emails and pictures. Assignments include a case study on preventing spear phishing and social engineering that targets key decision makers.

Community College Cyber Summit Meeting Workforce Needs
The sixth annual Community College Cyber Summit (3CS) is set for Tuesday, July 30, to Thursday, Aug. 1 in Bossier/Shreveport, Louisiana. This event is focused solely on educating and enhancing those responsible for cybersecurity education at community colleges. With technology constantly changing, 3CS is the premier conference to help a rapidly altering workforce.

Le Moyne College is looking to identify higher education institutions that have an interdisciplinary component to their cybersecurity program. This could range from a single course with interdisciplinary outcomes to a program-wide emphasis. Application Deadline is May 22
Thanks to a grant from the National Science Foundation, students can attend the Community College Cyber Summit (3CS) Job Fair and Career Exploration as well as the conference (July 30-Aug. 1) for free and receive a travel allowance. The Job Fair, at Bossier Parish Community College, will allow students to speak with employers from government, business and industry sectors, and learn about job and internship opportunities. The deadline to apply is May 22.

New Opportunity for 2019-21 Cohort
The American Association of Community Colleges is calling for proposals for MentorLinks Colleges and applications for MentorLinks Mentors for the 2019-21 cohort. The MentorLinks program is designed to help colleges develop or strengthen technician training programs in STEM fields through mentoring, professional development opportunities and technical assistance. It also aims to establish connections for colleges to identify new ideas and relationships through networking opportunities at program meetings and Advanced Technological Education National Conferences while helping colleges gain insight about support for building and sustaining new programs. The deadline to apply is June 7.
