Cyber2yr2020: ACM Curriculum Guidance for Associate Degree Programs in Cybersecurity
The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Committee for Computing Education in Community Colleges (CCECC) has published Cybersecurity Curricular Guidance for Associate-Degree Programs, known as Cyber2yr2020. These guidelines are based on ACM's CSEC2017 guidelines for 4-year programs and align with the Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) 2Y 2019 knowledge units and the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.
Panelists in this webcast will introduce the Cyber2yr2020 guidelines, which are applicable to both applied and transfer programs, and discuss how they could be used to create or update a two-year Cybersecurity program. Register HERE .
2019-2020 National CyberWatch Center Annual Report

With this in mind, the 2019-2020 National CyberWatch Annual Report looks back at many of the accomplishments over the past 15 years. A National Security Research Agenda for Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence - Center for Security and Emerging Technology Issue Brief
The intersection between cybersecurity and artificial intelligence is ripe for serious study from a variety of angles. There are purely technical aspects of great importance, such as how artificial intelligence changes the discovery of software vulnerabilities useful for hacking computer systems and the capacity for defenders to detect malicious code within their networks. Yet many of these technical questions have already been well-specified and are the subject of promising inquiries. This research agenda instead examines a different angle, one of national security.

Maryland is currently accepting applications! This accelerated cybersecurity training program is 100% scholarship-based and provides Maryland residents with advanced technical training, industry-recognized GIAC certifications, and highly sought-after cybersecurity skills that provide a pathway into the cybersecurity workforce.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with multiple cohorts running throughout the year. The next Academy begins in July 2020.
