DEC Alliances and Partnerships

You don't want to miss their amazing work and DEC efforts

  • Last month, NACoA held their COA Awareness Week - Stop the Hurt - Embrace Recovery. They had great webinars and information. If you missed any of them or want to re-watch you can catch them all here: https://nacoa.org/coa-awareness-week/
  • Every Wednesday throughout April, Shawnee County, Kansas DEC Alliance in partnership with National DEC will be holding a Brown Bag Series. Register to join us from 12-1pm Central Time to learn more about drug endangered children from experts, those with lived experiences and professionals working to provide help, hope and support to children and families.

  • Oregon Passed Legislation - Senate Minority Leader Tim Knopp (R-Bend) said Friday, "I’m glad to stand on the Senate floor today and report to Oregonians: you won." He says the $211 million spending package puts an important focus on kids, "We have set aside money for prevention and for identifying drug-endangered children." National DEC is proud to have been a small part of this legislation for Oregon. See the Oregon Drug Intervention Plan Fact Sheet.
