We are adhering to CDC, state and local health organizations guidelines and advisories. The h ealth and safety of everyone is our highest priority. Further, it is important to emphasize that the health and safety of children affected by parental or caregiver substance misuse is also of the highest priority at this time. Research has established that the risks to children increase during times of high stress and financial uncertainty. Certainly, our current situation related to the pandemic, is a distinct time of stress. National DEC would like to offer whatever assistance is in our scope to help communities with awareness and building capacity to best serve these children.

Recognizing that business related travel and meetings have been impacted and staff may be working from home we have mobilized resources so that we can offer our training presentations and support via live, online video conference. That way we can offer your organization and staff this critical training while maintaining everyone's health and safety.
The online training will be live, high-quality,
interactive and all participants can ask questions of our staff in real time.
Participants will be able to join the live, online training using their Internet connection at work or home. We can accommodate small groups or groups of 100 participants or more.
Some organizations may wish to schedule our live, online video training or a presentation for their staff that are working at home or remotely during this time. The National DEC team is committed to sharing the same high-quality service, support and collaboration that you are used to receiving from us in-pers on. We will follow up via telephone to confirm your receipt of this invitation, confirm your existing training or presentation date and share the live, online video training information link.
