Community Foundation for Northern Virginia offers $15,000 to Support Water Quality Awareness and Educational Outreach Around Local Waterways

Water pollution and trash accumulation in waterways in Prince William County, its towns and cities have been a challenge to the Conservation District's water quality volunteers. To promote the County's Green Community Goals, it is necessary to foster human behavioral change around local waterways. This grant offered to the Conservation District's Water Quality programs through the Prince William Environmental Excellence Foundation, will support natural resources protection and conservation efforts especially in water quality awareness and educational outreach in the community.
Special thanks to the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia for this huge support!
