FBINAA Members and Friends,
The FBI National Academy Associates is proud to join other major national law enforcement groups and associations, along with the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Service and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in supporting the upcoming National Faith & Blue Weekend on October 8-11, 2021.
The National Faith & Blue Weekend (Faith & Blue) is based on the premise that strong communities are built on mutual respect and understanding. Law enforcement and faith institutions are key pillars of each community and when they work together, neighborhoods thrive.
National Faith & Blue Weekend is a powerful Initiative that Builds Bridges to More Engaged Communities.
National Faith & Blue Weekend (Faith & Blue) is a powerful initiative that builds bridges and breaks down biases through activities and outreach efforts among law enforcement professionals and the communities they serve. These bridges and connections are built through customized activities that are held in neighborhoods of every kind across the country and are jointly hosted by houses of worship and local law enforcement entities. These activities include community service projects, athletic contests, public forums and are all geared towards building mutual understanding which benefits the entire community.
The effort is sponsored by FirstNet, Built with AT&T and the Motorola Solutions Foundation. The mission is to facilitate safer, stronger, and more unified communities by connecting law enforcement officers and residents through local faith-based and community organizations.
