Good Afternoon,
The National Farmers Union (NFU) has a new internship opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in agriculture, policy, communications, or advocacy. This program is a hybrid position with in-person work located in NFU’s national office in Washington, DC. The program accepts applications from current students, recent graduates, and emerging professionals.
The NFU Internship Program provides hands-on experience working alongside national leaders in agriculture while supporting projects in communications, government relations, education, and membership.
Interns receive a monthly stipend, have opportunities to attend Farmers Union events, and gain valuable professional experience in Washington, D.C.
Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a degree program and have an interest in agriculture, rural communities, Tribal Nations, public policy, or communications. Familiarity with Tribal communities and Native agriculture is highly valued.
