'America's National Parks' from National Geographic featuring Wildpath camera trap work now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu

Have you seen 'America's National Parks' yet? In 2021, members of our Wildpath camera trapping team Carlton Ward Jr. and Malia Byrtus set out to camera trap American crocodile nests at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant in Homestead, Florida as part of National Geographic’s original series narrated by Garth Brooks. The camera trap work can be seen in the ‘Biscayne’ episode, now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

The Florida population of the American crocodile is a conservation success story. The species overcame its endangered status from a few hundred individuals to nearly 2,000 in the wild today. The Biscayne area is home to one of the most concentrated breeding areas for the now threatened species.
