April 16th is #NationalHealthcareDecisionsDay
National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD) exists to inspire, educate and empower the public and providers about the importance of advance care planning. NHDD is an initiative to encourage individuals to express their wishes regarding healthcare and for providers and facilities to respect those wishes, whatever they may be.

Research states 92% of Americans say it’s important to discuss their wishes for end-of-life care, while only 32% have had the conversation.

The Conversation starts with entrusting your loved ones with hearing your wishes and putting them in writing. The best gift you can give to someone is your voice when you cannot speak for yourself. Start The Conversation today!
Legal Maneuvering... A Note from Keith Huffman
"No one wants to think about wills, trusts and end-of-life planning, much less take the time to have these difficult conversations with a lawyer. But the Coronavirus crisis is making it abundantly, painfully clear that this topic should not be avoided. Lawyers, legislators and the state's court system are working to make it easier to accomplish estate planning in the midst of the pandemic in two primary ways."
