June is National Indigenous History Month (NIHM) and June 21, 2023, is National Indigenous Peoples Day (NIPD). National Indigenous History Month is an opportunity to show your support and acknowledge the rich history and celebrate the contributions, resiliency, wisdom, and traditions of Indigenous People.

The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is on a reconciliation journey to build and promote economically prosperous relationships and partnerships with Indigenous Peoples, Indigenous Nations, and Indigenous-owned businesses. This month, we promote reconciliation, education, awareness, empowerment, and respect for Indigenous Peoples; we recognize the importance of creating a more equitable and inclusive Saskatchewan.

The four directions, as taught through Native American knowledge, are deeply embedded with symbolism and guidance for transformation.
