CONNECTIONS

Apr 19 2026

April 19-25 is National Library Week. This year's theme is Library Joy. Come find your Library Joy at Crestwood Library. We promise it will be life changing.

To recognize National Library Week, find in this issue a children's author reading and sing along, a fitness walk for book lovers, an update on books available for the Colum McCann event and the next Crestwood Centennial Conversation - an author talk on Jun 6 with Simon Winchester.

From Branch Administrator

Z Baird

Meet Mychal Threets, National Library Week Honorary Chair. Here is what he has to say when talking about this special week, "There are so many library kids and library grown-ups who have yet to fully embrace their Library Joy, and I am so excited for them! When they enter the world of libraries and stories, I am confident they will find not only their Library Joy but their courage to believe in their own story and maybe even share it with others."

Find your Library Joy with us,

Z
