Why should you apply for the WiNTR VISA

Katie Hunzinger, PhD won the 2023 WiNTR VISA Award and shared her thoughts about what the opportunity has created for her research and career. Dr. Hunzinger said:

“This program permits and fosters international collaborations that otherwise would not be funded or exist through traditional grant funding programs since no preliminary data or previous collaborations are required. As such, this program elevates me as a researcher by establishing a connection, across cultures and countries, with a more senior researcher providing me with additional experience, training, and mentorship beyond what I received during my educational pathway. As such, I believe this project will yield novel data, paving the way for future collaborations and elevating me above my peers as I establish myself as a researcher and junior faculty member at Thomas Jefferson University.”

Apply for the WiNTR VISA, deadline is April 17, 2024!
