National Night Out (NNO) - Block Party/Potluck

National Night Out Tues. Aug. 2nd, 2022 6pm-8pm

We are excited to announce the 2022 NNO Potluck

Please put Tues. August 2nd on your calendar and join us for the annual Peninsula Neighborhood Association National Night Out. Traditionally each block will have a small block party to promote NNO and get to know your neighbors better.

Residents are asked to bring a dish of food to share like a Salad, appetizers, desserts, beverage(s), etc. along with a folding chair. See block party locations below.

A Block Captain usually provides a table, water, utensils and helps coordinate a potluck with your neighbors on your block. See the list of Block Captain Hosts below.

The Important thing is to connect with one another and share security issues and other neighborhood concerns.

We will probably be visited by representatives of the LBPD and 3rd District Councilmember Susie Price's office. Block Captains will be seeking feedback and asking for volunteers to help. At the event we will be handing out a “Neighborhood Questionnaires" to help gather more information on our readiness in the event of an emergency.

The primary goals are to:

1. Let residents know who their block captains are

2. Communication with neighbors and LBPD on Security issues

3. Discuss security issues on your block & discuss possible solutions

4. Get to know your neighbors in an informal setting

Your Security Team,

Jana, Mark, Peter
