Redwood City Police Department will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4th, from 6–8 PM. Community members are invited to join neighbors, local first responders, and community partners for an evening of connection, fun, and community-building.



Events will take place at Flynn Avenue at Greenwood Lane, Andrew Spinas Park, Mezes Park, Maddux Park, Stafford Park, Jardin de Niños Park, Pennant Court at Lanyard Drive, and Seastorm Drive at Osprey Drive.

A raffle prize drawing will take place at 7 PM. Participants must be present to claim their prize.

Join San Mateo County Parks for Coyote Point SummerFest on Saturday, August 15th, from 12:00–4:00 PM at Coyote Point Recreation Area in San Mateo!

Bring the whole family for an afternoon filled with giant kites, train rides, live performances, food trucks, face painting, fun crafts, community resource booths, and more. Admission to the event is free (standard $6 vehicle entrance fee to the park applies). Don't miss this exciting community celebration of fun, culture, and connection!

The Housing Resource Fair is designed to connect community members with valuable housing information, programs, and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about affordable housing resources, tenant and landlord services, housing stability programs, homelessness prevention resources, financial assistance programs, and other local services that support housing needs. The event is free and open to everyone in the community.

Starting on July 1, 2027, Medi-Cal will stop covering dental services for some adult members, except for emergencies. This change is based on immigration status. The change only affects Medi-Cal members who are aged 19 and older and do not qualify for federal full-scope Medi-Cal.
