The Parks & Recreation Department has once again teamed up with the Merrimack Police Department in celebrating National Night Out.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

We are currently looking for businesses & community organizations who would like to setup a table at the event and provide a free game, craft, face painting, water balloon toss or other activity at the event. There is no cost to participate.

Current Registered Groups include:

• Merrimack Police Department
• Merrimack Crimeline will be cooking hot dogs and popcorn
• Haywards Ice Cream will have Ice Cream Available
• DJ Mike Kelly
• Merrimack Parks & Recreation
