Today is National Plan For Vacation Day!

Spread the Word with Our Free Toolkit

Join your NYS tourism colleagues and the thousands of people across New York State as we celebrate National Plan For Vacation Day! Did you know that New Yorkers leave up to 40 million PTO days unused each year, with 12 million days—worth over $3 billion—expiring annually? Imagine the health, happiness, and economic boost if those days were spent exploring the incredible destinations across New York State!

To help you spread the word on this industry-wide day, NYSTIA has partnered with BBG&G Integrated Marketing to develop a free toolkit packed with resources. Use it to advocate for the benefits of using PTO, including improved health, wellness, and productivity, while encouraging others to discover the beauty of New York State.

Let’s work together to turn unused PTO into unforgettable travel experiences. Access the New Yorkers: Take Your Vacation! toolkit now, or copy and share the suggested social media post below. #NewYorkPTO
