National Police Week events honor members of law enforcement

National Police Week, May 14-20, honors law enforcement nationwide for their service and sacrifice. Members of the BG Police Honor Guard will be traveling to Washington D.C. to take part in national ceremonies.

The community is invited to participate in Project Blue Light, displaying a blue porch light in memory of fallen officers. Blue light bulbs are available for pickup from the Police Department at no cost while supplies last. If you or your business is interested in participating, please contact Officer Amy Cholewa at [email protected] to arrange pickup.

Learn about BG's drinking water quality

It's Drinking Water Week, a celebration of water and the vital role it plays in our daily lives. Ensuring high quality, safe drinking water is a top priority of the Village, and as you would expect, BG has once again met or exceeded all water quality regulations.

Village water quality information is made available annually through the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) posted on the Village website. You can view the latest report here.
