National Stand-Down Events Encourage Construction Safety

Industry stand-downs seek to educate employees, prevent the spread of COVID-19

Construction crews throughout Austin and around the country will take time this Thursday, April 9, to Stand Down for Safety. The City of Austin Development Services Department salutes this nationwide initiative by the Association of General Contractors (AGC) to ensure workers at every construction site understand how to keep themselves, each other and their work sites safe from the spread of COVID-19.

Keeping construction job sites safe
Stress and coping with COVID-19
