NEFA's National Theater Project Announces Annual Creation & Touring Grant Awards
The New England Foundation for the Arts has awarded $970,000 to eight National Theater Project Creation & Touring Grant recipients . Grant-making is made possible with lead funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.

Attend 'New England Now' Opportunities for Dance Makers in the Region
NEFA’s   Regional Dance Development Initiative   (RDDI) has worked to leverage and expand on existing regional resources, foster vital networks of artists and presenters, and to provide professional growth opportunities. RDDI: New England Now was developed in direct response to findings from an evaluation of the National Dance Project, Moving Dance Forward , and New England Dance Cultural Organizers Convening .

New England Artists Receive Rebecca Blunk Fund Awards
The   Rebecca Blunk Fund  was established in memory of Rebecca Blunk (1953-2014), celebrating her 29 years of service to NEFA and her abiding passion for the arts. This year, NEFA is pleased to award three exceptional artists .

Announcing Creative City Boston Finalists
The Public Art team at NEFA is thrilled to announce the 18 finalist projects for Creative City Boston’s 2020 cohort. Each finalist receives a $1,500 finalist award, is paired with a program advisor to further develop their project, and is invited to submit a full project proposal in October 2019.

Apply for a Grant
The next New England Dance Fund deadline is September 13 . The New England Dance Fund awards small, catalytic grants to New England-based choreographers of all genres and backgrounds who identify an opportunity that will advance their careers in dance.
*NEFA implemented a new and improved application system for New England States Touring (NEST) Grant deadlines. Other programs' applications will upgrade over the course of the next year.

Grant deadlines are at 11:59 PM ET. NEFA staff are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET.
