Male, 8-12, African American, Rachel Marron's son. Should be a strong boy singer with an innate knowledge of pop/soul idiom. Early Michael Jackson should be used as a reference. Needs to be able to sing a top E and have strong pitch and an ability to riff. IF his voice is beginning to change he is automatically TOO OLD. he CANNOT be taller than 4'11".
This is a big acting role, the singing & dancing is less important. We need a boy who has experience acting. He can be an Equity member or not. If he is cast he will have to join equity.
