Washington, D.C. Fly-In
Tribal leaders and representatives
May 8-10, 2018

The voice, expertise and experience of tribal leaders are essential as members of Congress and the administration craft the next Farm Bill. Indian Country seeks to improve parity and access to U.S. Department of Agriculture programs for tribal governments and Native producers.

Please contact Janie Simms Hipp ( [email protected] ) as soon as possible if you, or your tribe’s designee, can participate in the fly-in meetings. It is critical to have as many voices as possible at the table to ensure that the next Farm Bill protects vital nutrition assistance programs for Native Americans and advances food sovereignty within Indian Country.
