Legislative Committee Meeting On July 8, NAIHC was joined by members and staff from HUD. As promised, the power point slides for this Legislative Committee Meeting are posted below. View the Slides

House THUD Appropriations Committee Passes FY22 Funding Bill This is still an early step in the appropriations process, but yesterday the House Transportation and Housing Appropriations Subcommittee reported out a FY22 funding bill that would increase funds to tribal housing programs. The bill includes $722 million for the IHBG Formula Block Grant, the first increase for the block grant in a decade. The bill would also increase the IHBG Competitive Grant Funding to $150 million in FY22. The bill will now be reviewed by the full Appropriations Committee and work must be done in the Senate as well. Please click on the Committee’s press release to learn more. More Information
