Native New England Garden
We are excited to be partnering with Hyannis Country Garden, located on West Main Street in Hyannis, to raise awareness about native plants and water quality.

Hyannis Country Garden has installed a native plants demonstration garden across from their koi pond. These plants are adapted to the climate and sandy soils of Cape Cod and support native wildlife, including pollinators, beneficial insects, birds, and small mammals.

BCWC volunteers have an information table at this exhibit Thursdays and Fridays through June from 10 am - 2pm to answer questions. Stop by and say hello while you pick up a native plant for your garden that will help improve water quality in our local waters.
In 2020, BCWC worked with landscape architect and BCWC Board Director Jack Ahern to design and install a demonstration garden in front of the BCWC office.

This project was generously funded by a grant from the Horizon Foundation, Inc.

The plants are starting to bloom and we welcome you to visit us at 864 Main Street in Osterville to check out the garden.
Barnstable Clean Water Coalition (BCWC) works to restore and preserve clean water in Barnstable. With science as our foundation, BCWC utilizes four core components to accomplish our mission:
Educate, Monitor, Mitigate and Advocate.
