Volunteers call Marion home | |
At the heart of the City of Marion's thriving services, facilities and programs,
lies an essential building block – our volunteers.
National Volunteer Week, held this year from 15 to 21 May, is an opportunity to
recognise and celebrate these extraordinary individuals and their contribution
to our community.
We are fortunate to have a culturally diverse group of more than 300 people
volunteering with the City of Marion.
Our volunteers generously give their time to a range of services including supporting our elderly community, driving our community bus, delivering meals, removing graffiti, supporting events, assisting at libraries, and more.
On behalf of everyone at the City of Marion, and to each and every volunteer who gives the gift of their time, we say thank you.
