Running with heart: 2025 NB3 Foundation track season shines


From six sites across New Mexico, 74 youth gave it their all this track season, earning 43 regional spots and 12 national qualifiers. More than medals, they built confidence, community and momentum for the future.

Making history: Native golfers to lead D1 team


Maddison Long, a former NB3FIT Golf Team member and youth mentor, and Peyton Beans Factor, a past competitor in the Native Youth Golf Championship, will be the first Native women to lead a Division I collegiate golf team. Their achievements represent a powerful step forward for Native youth in golf and the community of support helping youth rise.

Youth Council represents at UNITY 2025


Seven NB3 Foundation Youth Council members joined more than 2,500 Native youth in San Diego for the 2025 UNITY National Conference. From leadership workshops and cultural ceremonies to fashion shows and basketball wins, the week was filled with learning, connection and inspiration. Our youth returned home energized, empowered and ready to lead change in their communities.

A summer of growth with NB3FIT Jr. Golf


This summer, NB3FIT Jr. Golf brought together youth ages 6–18 for a season of skill-building, healthy habits and real-course experience through the PGA Jr. League. With strong support from coaches and families, youth gained confidence on the course and had fun along the way.

On June 28, Hibbett Sports presented a donation to the NB3 Foundation. Their support helps expand youth programming and creates more opportunities for local Native youth to stay active and healthy.

The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community, through its IndigeFit Kids campaign, is excited to announce that it is sponsoring a Coaching Academy presented by the Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation this fall!
