Healing and Wholeness
Our Healing Ministry resumes at the Cathedral As available, there will be a healing team at the font and/or in the chapel available to offer prayers for healing, laying on of hands as requested and/or anointing with oil. If there is a team present, please do avail yourself of this opportunity during the distribution of communion. Shalom.
Praying our Light to Shine! Praying our way to hope with Anglican Prayer Beads. An offering from our Ministry of Healing and Wholeness.

In the 1980’s a group of Episcopalians set out in group contemplative prayer using beads. The experience is similar to the Roman tradition of praying the rosary but unique in that there is a more meditative focus. This type of prayer will deepen and transform your devotions into a richer spiritual experience. Yet more transformative is to do so in community with Cathedral companions and our friends! Prayer beads are not required. Contact the church office for beads 610-865-0727 or email

Prayer Bead Meditations: Monday Evenings at 7 PM
Meeting ID: 811 2302 4927
Passcode: 785220

Adult Formation on Sunday welcomes a representative from Heeding God's Call. This organization raises awareness of the presence and consequences of gun violence across our nation and in our own community. The presence of illegal guns on our streets alone is the source of a significant amount of the gun violence. Perhaps this a common concern that all can agree upon as we think through sensible gun laws. Please join us for this important conversation.

Anti-Gun Violence Vigil Join the Bishop, the Cathedral of the Nativity, and all the cathedrals across Pennsylvania on September 18 in taking action against gun violence. We will have a vigil at 5pm. This book aligns with our theme of September, which is anti gun violence. Please join us! Let us know if you need assistance purchasing the book. October's book is Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
