NCBC is Proud to Announce
the Natosha Lynne Morton Scholarship Winner
Congratulations Tiffany Peek
This year the National Consortium of Breast Centers announced the return of the
Natosha Lynne Morton Memorial Scholarship
graciously funded by MagView®
This scholarship provides recognition to a deserving Breast Health professional who best exhibits character, compassion, and
caring in conjunction with providing the best possible care to patients by paying their conference registration
fee to attend the NCoBC 2020 Annual Interdisciplinary Breast Center Conference April 3-8, 2020 in Las
Vegas, NV.
Ms. Morton was a lifelong supporter of Breast Cancer Detection. Under her leadership as Center Director at Houston Northwest Medical Center, the site became the fi
rst Certified Quality Breast Center of
Excellence in the NCBC's NQMBC Program. She was actively involved with numerous charities involving the detection, education,
and treatment of breast cancer patients. After a long struggle, Mrs. Morton succumbed to the very disease she had so passionately fought against.
Here is a little bit about our winner, Tiffany Peek
Tiffany works at
Summit Pacific Medical Center for the last 14 years. She started in 2006 and is there currently. She previously worked
part-time at the Women's Center at Capital Medical Center from 2006-2009.
Tiffany's first love is Women's Health. She has worked in mammography for 14 years. She has helped build her facilities mammography program from film-screen, to digital and finally to 3D mammography. She has helped transition her program from a small hospital into a much larger facility and now into our brand-new wellness center, where she manages the department. Her patients always come first, She is currently working to develop a self-referral mammography program and one day she hopes to establish a patient navigator program for our ladies, and also help spread breast health awareness by hosting an annual Ladies Night event that includes dinner, inspirational speakers and gifts.
Thank you to all who applied and know that you all are very important in helping patients during their journey.
And A Special Thank You to
