Two Teen Nature Camps This July


We still have space in two great teen nature camps (ages 12-14) this summer! These camps run back to back for a possible two week experience. First, STEM in Nature Camp runs from 7/11 to 7/15, exploring real life environmental issues while enjoying the wildnerness in Heritage Park. And our Outdoor Recreation Sampler runs from 7/18 to 7/22 and includes hiking, fishing, river walks, archery, disc golf, and more.

Volunteer May 21st to clean up the Rouge


Join us this May 21st from 9:00am to Noon for a special Rouge River Day of volunteering. We welcome volunteers of all ages to Heritage Park to help us protect our Rouge watershed.


Lunch will be provided by our DPW crew, and we will have multiple volunteer stations available for you to choose from, including:


-Trail Maintenance

-Invasive species removal

-Native species planting

-Trash cleanup / logjam removal in the river (weather permitting)


Dress for the weather and working outdoors- long pants and closed toed shoes are highly recommended. RSVP below:
