Many of Kennebunk Land Trust properties are experiencing downed trees and icy walking conditions. We are working to ensure all of our properties reman safe for visitors!

Our volunteers are working hard to clear the trails and remove debris. Theses storms were quite a doozy! If you do decide to visit, please prepare with shoe spikes, warm clothes, and a willingness to turn around if it gets too unsafe.

Stay with us as we work to provide open and accessible spaces in every season!

WONDERBROOK PARK IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

There is a significantly large tree perched at a dangerous angle, other fallen trees along the trails, and icy conditions.

Use the trails at your own risk.

Join us for a Snow Stroll!

Kennebunk Land Trust and Boulangerie, A Proper Bakery are partnering again to bring you the “Snow Stroll.”

Wear your brightest red outdoor clothes, and take a nature walk at Mousam River Wildlife Sanctuary. Attendees will receive a coupon to Boulangerie to redeem before or afterward the walk.

Register by noon on February 3rd to order your very own red KLT scarf for the festivities! Attendance is limited so register today!

This program is a great way to support environmental efforts and local Kennebunk businesses as part of Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce Paint The Town Red events.

Join us for a nature walk!

This storm has done a real number on our trails! After a lot of trail monitoring, one especially big blow down at the Wonderbrook trailhead, and double-digit negative degrees, we are POSTPONING this Saturday’s (2/4) Nature Walk until Saturday February 11. Same time same place until further notice!

Thank you to our incredible trail crews and stewardship committee monitors for assessing, reporting, and chainsaw-ing their way into safe and accessible trails for all. We have more to do and will keep working away!

The First Saturday Walk Series with Linda Littlefield Grenfell will continue into 2023! Join in and share her naturalist view of the area's woods and waters.

The next walk is February 11, 2023, from 10 - 11:30 a.m. The walk will be at Wonderbrook Park, with a theme of "Cold Survivors."
