Building bridges to build bridges!

Kennebunk High School Alterative Education students ventured out into KLT's newest property, Tributary Preserve, to clear trail and build bridges over some especially wet and muddy areas.

They did an incredible amount of work - over 140' of bridging installed! - and have been instrumental in getting this this trail system ready to open to the public.

There is more work to be done, and we couldn't more grateful to the students and their teachers for this support!

Generous community donations allowed this project to be possible.

Donate to our other trail projects here.

We had a great time at our first ever 'Nature's Canvas: Unveiled' Art Auction!

Thank you so much to the incredible artists and our community who made this fundraiser a success!

All of the artists created beautiful plein air pieces and truly captured the beauty of our preserves on canvas.

Congratulations to the winning bidders on your new works of art!

Benches galore!

Kennebunk Land Trust volunteers were busy installing five new benches in our preserves. These were memorial benches, honoring loved ones in our community.

Thank you to everyone who helped place the benches in the preserves, and to the families who chose KLT to remember their loved ones.

Enjoy the five new benches in Alewive Preserve on the Red Trail at Sucker Brook (top); Butler Preserve along the river (bottom left); and Mousam River Wildlife Sanctuary on the outlook (bottom right); Wonderbrook Park on the Red Trail looking downriver; and For All Forever along the river.
