WHERE'S THE TRAIL?!

This time of year, the falling leaves cover the existing trails and the undeveloped woods equally. This can make it hard to find the trail since its covered!

Please keep an eye out for trail blazes and other markers that show the path. If you get turned around, stay calm, assess your situation, and try to retrace your steps and look for landmarks.

Most of KLT properties get great cell reception, but properties like Alewive Woods can be spotty.

Stay alert!

The leaves will also cover falling hazards like roots and small stumps.

Slow down and watch your step!

Tributary Preserve is open!

We had a great opening event for this fun and exciting milestone, and celebrating all the hard work from our volunteers over two years to build trails open to the public.

Get out and visit this beautiful preserve and newest edition to our trail systems.

October 1st - 31st, head out into Hope Woods to seek out the pumpkins hung in the trees!

If you spy all 10, come into the Kennebunk Land Trust office for a candy prize! 🎃👻
