Can you spot it?
This week at Oxbow Preserve, a busy beaver was spotted by Stewardship Committee member Greg Leach and family. These rodents (yes, rodents!) are building their lodges and dams, and traces of them can be seen through the distinctly pointed tree stumps they leave behind after chewing down trunks with their teeth.
Be on the lookout at Oxbow Preserve and other watery locations!
