Business units from General Dynamics, General Electric, Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and Rolls-Royce made the Navy's list of so-called superior suppliers.

The Navy League is committed to educating members of Congress about sea service needs and requirements.  In addition to supporting pizza briefs, caucus events, and member contacts in the field, the Navy League has added a new tool to its legislative education arsenal.  Our new website, www.cqrcengage.com/navyleague  provides the easiest method possible for Navy Leaguers to make their voice heard on Capitol Hill.

The new website will be accessible from the main Navy League homepage.  Navy Leaguers will then be able to select an issue or campaign that interests them.  They will then be prompted to enter in their address which the software uses to instantaneously look up the contact information for their Members of Congress.   Letters and content will be provided by Navy League Headquarters staff which can then be edited by the Navy Leaguer to tailor the message and make it personal.  When the letter is complete it is sent to the Member of Congress with the simple click of a button!

When Navy Leaguers use the new voter response website, Members of Congress will know that Navy Leaguers are politically engaged and extremely knowledgeable- they pay attention!  Navy League members can also share the website with friends via social media, increasing the Navy League's public platform and base of support.  Navy League Councils are also encouraged to link directly to the site from their council websites.  It is therefore important that Navy Leaguers often visit and utilize the feature to check for issue updates and new campaigns.

National headquarters staff is working closely with Navy Leaguers to get as many members as possible using this exciting new tool.  Email sfuentes@navyleague.org or with any questions.
